Central Park Rapid Open: The Sunset Knights are Back!

The Sunset Knights played in the 14th Annual Central Park Rapid Open. Organized by Chess-in-the-Schools, this fun, outdoor chess tournament is open to both children and adults. Our team enjoyed playing soccer in between rounds.

Congratulations to brothers Nicholas and Nelson Tung for winning trophies in their sections. Nelson scored 5 out 6 points placing 5th in the Under 1000 sections and Nick won 2nd Place U 1400.

Our 3rd Nationals is Completed: U1000 8th Place, Open 13th Place, Tie for First in Blitz K-6, and 2nd Place Blitz K-3
